A Little Lemon, A Lot of Love: Our New Pasta Features at The Commons

There’s something about pasta nights that just feels right — especially when the air is cooler, the wine is poured, and dinner doesn’t need to be rushed.

At The Commons on Portland, we’re leaning fully into that feeling with a new pasta feature that’s bright, comforting, and just indulgent enough.

Lemon Cream Shrimp Cavatappi

This dish is all about balance. Tender shrimp and springy cavatappi pasta are tossed in a silky lemon cream sauce with garlic and white wine, then finished with cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, Parmigiano, and a gentle touch of chili flake. It’s fresh, rich, and quietly addictive — the kind of dish you keep thinking about the next day.

Dinner for Two — $59.95

If you’re in the mood to linger, we’ve made it easy.

Our Dinner for Two is designed for sharing and savoring:

  • One large salad to start (Caesar or House)

  • Two pasta dishes, your choice of:

    • Carbonara

    • Penne Alla Vodka

    • Lemon Cream Shrimp Cavatappi

  • Finished with a decadent brownie à la mode to share

Prefer wine instead of dessert?  You can swap the brownie for a bottle of house red or white for just $20 more.

Whether it’s a midweek date night, a long overdue catch-up with a friend, or just an excuse to enjoy really good pasta, this feature was made for slowing down and enjoying the moment.
