Live Music Thursdays at The Commons!

Over the past few months, we’ve heard from so many of you asking for live music at The Commons—and we’re listening. Given the history of this space and the passion from our community, we’ve decided it’s time to give it a go.

For five Thursdays in May, we’ll be welcoming talented local musicians to fill the room with good vibes and great tunes. Music kicks off at 8pm, there’s no cover, and Nine Locks beer will be on special to keep the good times flowing.  Did you know that we donate 25 cents per pint of Local Hero sold at The Commons to local sports?  It adds up fast and makes a real difference to our community.

We’re kicking things off on Thursday, May 1st at 8:00pm with the incredibly talented Geoff Kennedy—a neighbour and friend of The Commons. Geoff will be bringing his remarkable one-man-band show to the pub, setting the tone for a month of unforgettable Thursday nights.

This is a bit of an experiment, and we’re excited to see how it feels in the room. We’re calling on all our fellow Commoners to come out, grab a drink, enjoy the music, and help us decide if live music should become a regular thing.

And don’t forget—Wine Wednesday is the perfect warm-up! Join us the night before for $5 5oz house wine and $10 off all bottles after 5pm.

Come to The Commons and see what we are up to!
