Celebrating Our First Full Week at The Commons on Portland!
What a week it has been! We couldn’t be more thrilled with the warm welcome we’ve received from this amazing community. After months of planning, dreaming, and preparing, The Commons on Portland has officially come to life—and it’s all thanks to you!
Our team has quickly become a powerhouse of skill and hospitality, bringing the vision of great food and a welcoming atmosphere to your tables every day. Seeing old friends, making new ones, and sharing incredible meals together has been the greatest reward of all.
A few early favourites have already emerged! The Brown Butter Haddock has been stealing the show, while the Crispy Chicken Club and Braised Beef Sandwich are in a tight race for second place. Meanwhile, La Delfina Pinot Grigio has become a go-to pairing for our seafood dishes, adding just the right crisp, refreshing touch to your dining experience.
We also wanted to share an important update: we aren’t taking reservations at this time, but we have a great new online waitlist system that ensures everyone is seated quickly and fairly. It’s been working beautifully, keeping things flowing smoothly so you can enjoy your time with us without the stress of long waits. Check out the wait list here – it couldn’t be easier.
It’s been an unforgettable first seven days, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the way you have embraced this space and made it part of your lives once again. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait for many more meals, memories, and moments shared together.
