What a summer it has been at The Commons on Portland. Our very first summer in business was filled with sunny days, warm evenings, and a patio that quickly became a neighbourhood gathering place. We were absolutely blown away by how busy we were and by how many of you have already become regulars. Our goal was to create a local spot where people could relax, share good food, and feel at home, and it has been exciting to see that vision come to life.
The season isn’t over yet. September still offers plenty of warm afternoons and golden evenings, and we invite you to make the most of them on our patio with a beautiful meal and a cold drink in hand.
As we look ahead, cooler weather and the holiday season are on the horizon. It’s not too early to start thinking about your Christmas parties, and we encourage you to call soon to secure your preferred date and time. We would love to host your gathering.
In the kitchen, our chef has been creating feature burgers that change regularly and are only available for a short time. Right now, the Forager Burger is taking centre stage with two smash patties, herb roasted mushrooms, cracked pepper aioli, white cheddar, crispy fried onions, and arugula. It’s a hearty, flavour-packed burger worth a visit.
We are also excited to share that delivery is now an option with Uber Eats. You can find us on their page, or if you’d prefer to order ahead for pick-up, you can do so easily through our website at www.thecommonspub.com.
